About Carmelita
How Long Does This Need To Be?
In A Few Words...
Carmelita Jalapa is a Texas creative with a BFA in Graphic Design. She is entirely comfortable taking on the Adobe Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and has even been known to try her hand at basic HTML and CSS. Throw a program at her and chances are she will figure it out. She enjoys designing packaging, posters, and literally anything to do with typography. She is currently working in the merchandise designing field, specializing in licensed merchandise. Her favorite licenses to work with are Sanrio and anything that allows some creative freedom.
A proud lifelong learner, she absorbs information from whichever direction it decides to come. This wide pool of inspiration results in a unique culmination of work. A strong ability to adhere to a corporate style along with a knack for more creative design. Regardless of the style being produces, she always strives for the best.
An eager ear and a quick wit will provide hours of hard work and entertainment to anyone lucky enough to employ her.
During her (currently non-existent) free time, Carmelita enjoys exploring the different aspects of the creative life: painting, drawing, building, and pin designing. She loves to travel around the country and globe. Between stops, she is perfectly happy exploring the different (well lit) areas of Dallas.
